Strategy

CAFE shall become a global authority on Age-Friendly initiatives and know-how; a published national leader in identifying needs, organizing communities, offering technical assistance and supporting efforts at generating resources that promote fulfillment of the WHO’s Age-Friendly domains.

CAFE will provide advocacy, leadership, applied research and resources in the following key areas:

  • Aging advocacy, leadership and policy
  • Applied research and best practices
  • Resource assistance 

Specifically, CAFE will serve as a recognized leader and sought-after think-tank in aging advocacy and policy development in the following areas:

  • Facilitate collaboration and communication at all levels of government
  • Educate and enlighten civic and political leaders
  • Promote full inclusion of and participation by older adults
  • Serve as a strong voice of engagement
  • Leverage applied research 
  • Help to generate resources sustaining Age-Friendly communities
