Domain: Communication and Information
The main focus is to increase and broaden communication options with the community
This will be achieved by the following implementation efforts: (partial list)
- Creating a city electronic newsletter; which may include major neighborhood projects and community events
- Include resources the county offers
- Also disseminate information through updated electronic billboards, banners and kiosks
- Include links to SMC alert, Seniorline newsletter and Help at Home Guide published by San Mateo County
- Establish database for seniors and people with disabilities to be contacted in an emergency and help assist in an evacuation
- Compile names from voter registration, census information and door to door campaigning
- Develop whole campaign on gathering contact information
